Our annual BBQ had a bit of a twist this year. Fed up of being rained upon, we decided to head for more comfortable surrounds. So, in conjunction with the Gaelic Sports Club of Luxembourg, we ran two very successful BBQs at the Black Stuff to coincide with the All Ireland Hurling and Football Finals.
We were extremely lucky with the weather; on both days the rain stayed away and in fact the sun was actually shining last Sunday. There was a huge crowd at both events and even after increasing the amount of food for the football final; we were sold out on both occasions.
A big thank you to Phil and Cathy at the Black Stuff for letting us have the BBQs there. We’ll be back again next year (with even more burgers!).
