Although most of the screenings from the British Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) are now behind us, there is still something to look forward to in the shape of ‘Luxembourg in America’. This 38-minute documentary was filmed last month during the 38th annual Luxembourg Fest organised by the Luxembourg American Cultural Society in Wisconsin, US. It provides a glimpse of Luxembourg's heritage in the US following the wave of emigration in the 19th century and of how their descendants thrive today. The film will be shown on Friday 27 September at 19:00 at Ciné Utopia, with an introduction by US Ambassador Thomas Barrett and will be followed by a Q&A.
