The Irish Club of Luxembourg (ICL) is organising an outing to the British & Irish Film Season on Saturday 5 October 2013. We will meet beforehand at Meneghino’s for a pizza (very appropriate as it features in the film!) at 20:00, with the screening at 21:30. The film is the brand new Irish comedy “Life’s a Breeze” starring Pat Shortt, Fionnula Flanagan, Kelly Thornton, Eva Birthistle and is directed by Lance Daly.
Synopsis: Life’s a Breeze is a feel-good ‘recession comedy’ about a family struggling to stay afloat and stay together through hard times in Ireland. Unemployed slacker Colm (Pat Shortt), his aging mother Nan (Fionnula Flanagan) and his niece Emma (Kelly Thornton) must overcome their many differences to lead their family in a race against time to find a lost fortune. Who said life’s a breeze?
