Some details:
- pls ensure to get to Le Coque in good time so as to find parking and get into the sports arena in time. The venue will be very busy so it may take time to find your bearings
- the entrance is signposted arena II & arena II. It is the last big hall which is at the European school end of the complex
- pls ensure to bring proper sports shoes along as otherwise you will not be allowed onto the running track.
- no nordic walking poles are allowed!
- the track will be divided in 2 - one part for joggers & other part for walkers. Hence you can choose which you want to do.
- Our allocated place in the hall: is 229. Please ask for directions on arrival at Le Coque from the information desk to know where this place is. The team name is 'IRELAND'. Team captain David Barry. David will hang an Irish flag in this area to make it easier for you to find it. - David will leave a black ruck sack at our allocated place with drink vouchers inside.
- changing rooms are available on the left hand side also. You will see the entrance just off the track.
- If you have T-shirts still from last years event pls bring them along!
- Finally the idea is for one team member to be on the running piste at all times. As we all know each other please arrange to hand over the arm band at the entrance to the running piste. People normally line up along the track to meet their team members and hand over the band. If you are not sure about this please phone the person on the list before you to ensure the smooth hand over of the arm band.
For the old hands from last year the above should make sense! For people doing this for the first time pls give me a call as it will only take a five minute chat to explain the event in detail to you. It really is not complicated!
